9 WAREHOUSE BOUTIQUE-STYLE 1 & 2 BEDROOM APARTMENTS IN SYDENHAM
Coming in Spring 2017, The Hyacinth House will feature a selection of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments located in the prime location of Sydenham Hill.
The development will be part of the prestigious Dulwich Estate, started by Edward Alleyn, a successful actor-manager and entrepreneur. Alleyn purchased the Manor of Dulwich in 1605. Some years later, he decided to create a charitable foundation in Dulwich, endowing it with his estate and other property. Christ’s Chapel of God’s Gift was the first of the buildings to be completed, being consecrated on 1 September 1616. Letters patent were granted by King James I, and on 21 June 1619 Alleyn’s College of God’s Gift was formally established:
“…to found and establish a college in Dulwich to endure and remain for ever…”
The new apartments will feature a neo-Georgian exterior with interiors that share the same characteristics of our previous developments such as Jam Central, Red Rock Apartments and most recently The Cribs, all of New York urban warehouse design.
Mark will be using urban materials like concrete, steel, exposed-treated timber, interior bricks, glass and all the ingredients needed to give this new build life – as if it was created in the Victorian days. Character is about not just creating, but recreating that warm-era we all most like living today…
The Hyacinth House is in the centre of Sydenham Hill between Crystal Palace and Dulwich, within walking distance of Crystal Palace Park and Sydenham Wells Park and amenities in Crystal Palace & Dulwich.
Transport is seamless in this location, with direct links into London via Sydenham Hill, Gipsy Hill and Crystal Palace rail stations.
